Monika Lin’s rendition of Lu Xun’s Weeds features a suite of six original woodblock prints printed on 100% cotton Fabriano printmaking paper hand-bound in an accordion-style book.

The companion handmade artist edition of Matt Turner’s new translation of Lu Xun’s prose poems are printed on acid-free paper and bound with traditional Chinese bookbinding (線裝 xian zhuang).

Both books are bound in 30x30cm (12x12x1″) wooden covers using acid-free paper and glue. Accordion book opens to 72″ wide and features six original woodblock prints on Fabriano paper. Handbound book contains Lu Xun’s cycle of poems, translated by Matt Turner and introduced by Nick Admussen.

Signed and numbered by the artist in a limited edition of eight.
